Problem installing or uninstalling S-Gear


S-Gear uses the Windows MSI installation system.  The Microsoft FixIt support tool can be used to automatically diagnose and fix common problems with installation or uninstallation of Windows applications.

Click the 'Run Now' button to install the tool.  Follow the instructions and select S-Gear when you have the opportunity to choose which application you would like to troubleshoot.

To help diagnose installation problems on the MAC, we may ask you to re-install S-Gear with logging enabled:

  1. Run the S-Gear installer, do not press Continue
  2. Press CMD-L on your keyboard to open an install logging window
  3. In the drop-down menu on the left, select 'Show All Logs'
  4. Continue with the S-Gear installation
  5. Before closing the installer, click the SAVE icon on the right to save the log to a file
