what about some high gain .. again?? lol....

here is the thing... steems from the cool guy (Chris Tranmer) from the video...

and my mix with nebula cabs... what you guys think?? i know volume and mixing skills don't count...but take the sound in consideration...

to my ears... nebula gives a more detailed sound... that's all..

nebula www.mediafire.com/listen/d62p5yme85arm82/g+mix.wav

the same nebula part is from 0:17 from this video

Nice tune. Yeah i also felt that nebula have more clear detail in the sound. I tried the vtx eq wth marc marshall and some exciter before that to add some harmonics to my preamp and it sounds really good ;)

:thumbs up: thanks bro!

by the way i don't know if my mix is sounding too loud or unbalanced but in the end i think it sounds cool.. for the little exp in metal and soo on that i have....

i reformatted my computer and did'nt changed the program rate inside the xml file.. that kind helps the sound to get better.... the normal and standard is 2000 but i just changed to 200000 and it helps!

in the previous clips i did the actual xml change....

go for it man, i think it helps with some reverbs too...

some reverbs tend to add artifacts with high cpu usage and if you do this tweak you can use them just fine without the artifacts... and you don't need to touch liquidity fader ...

and i think that the overall sound gets better somehow with this little tweak.

Hello,
I'm a fellow guitarist from Portugal.

Driven by gabrielscruff's successful nebula cabs experience, I took the plunge and bought nebula. Later I realised that currently there are no good nebula cabs for sale (ownhammer)...

Any thoughts? Any idea where I can get good nebula cabs?
Hope you can help me out, taking into account that I'm in a sort of dead end..

Hey bro you can't buy ownhammer anymore, but you can try to use some of the free ones like this one

cabs.kalthallen.de/kalthallen_free.html

www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/threads/aes-...hread.494288/page-12

and here on post #217 and 232#

the poi cabinet is great on that ultimate metal forum

Hahah hell yeah. Do you also use ownhammer nebula cabs in splith mode ?

I feel they sound better in splith mode and the first kernel up 50 ms give a fat low end love it !!!

yes bro! i use the timed feature with the cabs.. and the low end is the key to a pleasure experience with nebula cabs... sound soo good!!!

i really like to play with the timed mode cabs... sounds sweet...

i hope to see more cabs developed in the future ... maybe a new creator or maybe Tim Petherick...

i love his programs!

Yeah man the clean kernel in timed mode should be cranked up above 50 ms thats where the magic happens. I also hope tim Petherick will create some new cabs. I have the marshall and bogner from ownhammer so there is a bunch of cab programs. Also have the old mesa but only few ones are really good. I read on the acoustica foruom that nebula 4 is coming soon :P

timed mode is a great feature .... i think many programs sound "better" ... in timed mode

im sad that few folks tried to create cabs to nebula... and yes nebula 4 is comming soon... im waitting for many years..lol.. but i still waitting... hope to see some cool stuff

but i don't like the fact that they don't give the 3 party developer full acess to the cores capability... they need to make money? 7yes but some folks can work better in the sampling process...

hope to see some cool stuff and new programs... but i don't spend much money in things that i don't need...

if someone appears with a go to cab pack nebula programs that would be awesome!!!
