Steve Lukather Bogner sound. 3 months 2 weeks ago #18620

Has anyone been able to recreate the Steve Lukather Bogner sound through S-Gear?
I have a Journey and Toto Tribute band called JOTO. I've been playing with some different things and can't get that tone yet except for actually putting a Bogner Blue pedal on the front end.
Thought I may be able to dial it in pretty close from the Marshall amp but not yet.
Just a curious silly Question.....

I cooked this up quickly,so it might need some tweaking. I hope it helps a bit. It responds fairly well to volume changes, so you can get a bluesier sound by turning down your volume. Hope this helps.

For the early tunes - both from Journey and Toto - they used a Marshall amp, so with the Stealer you should get pretty close. In fact, I made a patch and recording for "Stone in Love", which is somewhere in this forum.

Later on they have moved onto more modern tones: Soldano, Diezel, Bogner, whatever. You will have to try with the Jackal, Wayfarer, or maybe by adding a pedal in front of it.

Good luck.
