I'm looking to build out a complete amp sim > powered cabinet solution so I don't have to rely on a PA for practice and gigs. Reading reviews for various FRFR speakers. the Headrush is listed frequently but I'd love to know what other options work well with s-gear. I have a basic setup with Macbook Pro > Scarlett 2i4 > <future powered cabinet>

I'd skip the 8" headrush, I recommend at least 1x12" for good guitar tones IMHO. Also consider the size of room you will be playing in.

And look into one of the new Line 6 Catalyst cabinets. They have nice modelling built in, but can also be used a cabinet for modelers.
