Is it possible to make a real BF Fender w/o drive? 1 year 2 months ago #18559

can anyone make a real BF fender clean thats responsive like my 67 vibrolux but clean...no drive reverbs ok but just a tad..Ive only been using this for a day now so Im new...Is it even possible without micing the real deal which I may use this with a miced vibrolux? For say a strat on neck pick up. a warm punchy strat tone without drive?

Does anyone make presets to go over their miced amp to get a more responsive feel and tone?

Here's my attempt to make a BF clean tone ala Jerry Garcia live at Keystone.I do use two reverbs on it but you can adjust to your liking.I also use Rosen Fender Twin IR's so you'll have to add your own IR.Hope this helps get you started.I made this using headphones so not sure how it'd sound using speakers.
Cheers!

@grateful grafford
To give you another feedback:
I used your preset to build my own BF Fender Clean kinda tone.
I use Ownhammer IR's (112-DVRB & 410-SPRVRB).
Works well for me. Thanks! :good job:

For BF clean, I’d start with Wayfarer, and pick a 1x12” speaker model, mic and mic position that’s a bit bright.
