TOPIC: any banks of BASIC amp presets?

any banks of BASIC amp presets? 2 years 1 month ago #16491

The way I see it, the 5 amp models combined with a number of cabs and settings could actually simulate many many more amps - but do we have just generally dry presets with each of these amps?

The SGear in/out module at the bottom of the rack allows you to bypass effects, cabinets, and amps in any combination for any preset you have. Also, the amp A/B selector will allow a second set up per preset. So you could have the "A" channel your full blown set up, and the "B" channel your dry amp set up, per preset.

While SGear is capable of mimicking brand name amps, it's intentionally not designed to model a specific piece. The Wayfarer, for example, can go from Twin to Boogie, but you would have to dial that sound in, simply because your particular guitar and interface will react differently than someone else's.

You can save out presets for the amps only using the Device Preset feature. Right click on the amp to store or load presets. We don't provide factory device presets, although it would be a nice addition to S-GEAR.

Cheers,
