Same here. Only using AmpliTube for pedals now. Would ditch it entirely if S-Gear had a Tubescreamer.

I'm sure Mike is coming out with some Vox-style amp at some point, but I also think he could ask for a fee. S-Gear is so good already, it would just be fair if substantial upgrades such as new amps would be paid updates in the future. Unpopular with users, but absolutely justified given the quality that's on offer here.

Yes, I think it's time for Mike to start charging for major updates!
+1! More than happy to pay for new amps :rock out:

I dont think its fair to say ditch A3 altogether. The Orange and Engl are are very good.

Don't get me wrong. I like it. It's just that I want to keep things simple when putting together a live rig. For recording, totally different story.
To be honest, I haven't tried the Engl stuff yet. And I've never been an Orange guy, either.

In an ideal world, there would be an all-in-one solution, but what can you do...
I'm getting pretty close with Bidule as VST host, Amplitube for pedals and S-Gear for amps, reverb/delay and cabs. Simple enough. Great tone.

Hi folks.

This was six years ago. Is there a Vox amp yet?

I've been on a little bit of a Vox kick lately, trying the demos by Audio Assault, ML Sound Labs, Nembrini Audio, and Kuassa. None of them have the feel that S-Gear has. I'm sure something in that flavor ballpart by Mike would be a home run. I felt the Audio Assault was too generic and didn't actually try to model the amp (lots of controls that aren't on the amp itself) and couldn't overdrive much at all, ML Sound Labs it was hard to get any clean out of it; everything was overdriven quite a bit. The Nembrini just felt a little flat and uninspiring. The Kuassa was just ok. We've got an AC-30 at work that I've played several times before, and I have yet to play a sim that sounds, much less feels, like one.

Thanks, Mike! I'm about to complete my 25th original design expressly designed and released to the DIY community. I have several scientific/technical video scripts written out, as well, but I need to stop playing around with circuits and building guitars long enough to do them
