this is very good news indeed, thank you, Mike !
Indeed !!! I'm looking forward to this moment.
Concerning the delays, the S-Gear delays are so good sounding ! And the modulation is awsome.
However, I noticed I had difficulties to get a proper EQing for the echoes. I try to use the Tone knob but I can't get a smooth echo, it's either boomy or too icy, metallic. As I use the HERDIM pick which makes scratchy sounds when the string is stroke, this percussive sound is repeated in the echo and it makes the tone a bit icy.
I tried to EQ the source signal (the one coming from my amp sim - The Duke in S-Gear or an the VOXA30 in JamVOX - which is just OK) to get rid of icy freq (4KHZ and more) but can't get a balance tone (it's stil too boomy or too icy).
I was wondering if doing what you were talking about the Edge trick (putting delays between the preamp and the amp) could help gettind a smotth and wel balanced echo. What do you think Mike ? Could you explain why oing this can smooth the tone ? Will the next versions of S-Gear allow us to do that kind of audio chain ?
