I'm still using my late 2013 iMac. It's been the most reliable computer I've ever owned and I love the 27 inch display. It does everything I need but it is no longer supported and I can't upgrade the OS anymore. So it goes.

Yes. I'm already sort of locking down the OSX and version of Logic Pro and will live with as long as possible. Its like a recording studio frozen in time, which is fine. I suppose if some killer app that won't run on the system comes along, then I will think of upgrading, but for now I have all I need...

If you ever try an M2 Mac, you'll never go back. These machines are just incredible.

Are you running Ventura on M2? And have you run into any plug-in compatibility issues? (I use Logic Pro with an Apogee Duet).
