TOPIC: Audio interface with Win 10?

Audio interface with Win 10? 7 months 2 weeks ago #23316

Please recommend me a good audio interface to use with S-Gear and Windows 10.
Budget $200-$250.
The only input I need is for one electric guitar and lowest latency as possible is important for me, as well as good audio quality. I have a new PC with a good fast CPU.
I currently use the Irig HD 2 but it’s far away from decent imo.
I have been looking at the Audient iD4 MKII and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen but not tried anyone yet.
What do you recommend?
Thanks:)

The lowest latency would be RME, but unless you're buying used, they will be beyond your budget.

Whatever you end up with, make sure they have good windows drivers.

The MOTU windows drivers are good too (for low latency).
I use the Ultralite AVB, but they have cheaper ones now.
I bet they all use pretty much the same drivers...

I use Zoom UAC-2 which works fine with all my guitar plugins.
Here are the specs

Sorry so late. Just in case you haven't pulled the trigger yet...

Audient

I have two kids who a creative types and we have a whole slew of USB interfaces.
IMHO... And my kids' as well... You can't go wrong with the Audient ID4. Its' a great unit. For ease of use... All three of us like the Audient EVO series. We have the EVO4 and the EVO8 and use them for voiceovers, streaming, guitar and bass. They work well a sound great.

This way for Audient Interfaces---->

IK Multimedia

Yeah... We went through two iRig interfaces really quickly. Lost a pot crapped-out on the Pro Duo and the iRig HD didn't have much to offer except it's outstanding portability.

The AXE IO interface are fantastic. I use the AXE IO Solo every day. The sound and flexibility are great. The control and contours available on the inputs are life savers. The larger one (AXE IO) allows you to save PRESETS! What a time saver that is!

This way to AXE IO---->

Once again... Just my opinion devices I have experience with. I also have an RME Fireface and an old Focusrite Forte that I like... A lot. But they are beyond your budget.

Happy hunting! Remember... It's supposed to be FUN! :)
