Hi Folks,

S-Gear v2.96 has been posted on the download page.

• 75% Scaling mode added
• Minor UI Bug fixes
• VST3 plug-in loads correctly in Cakewalk

On Windows, v296 resolves an issue where devices can request re-activation after a major Windows update (like the recent version 2004 update). The solution will only take effect once the device has been deactivated and re-activated.

Does this affect the process where S-Gear uses an Ethernet Adapter as a licensing identifier?

Without getting into detail, on Windows machines v296 uses a new method to determine the machine identification which doesn't rely on the Ethernet Adapters. The change takes effect on a new activation.

Thanks. I've downloaded the update but can't seem to install it? Windows is asking 'how do I want to open this file'? Cheers

Make sure that you downloaded the correct installer for Windows. You need to scroll down the page a little for the Windows link.
