He said he'll be sending a newsletter AFTER NAMM.

Be patent, Clint. Rome wasn't built in a day... ;)

Bring it Mike!
Looks like Preset and maybe IR handling has been improved...which would be a huge thing. I'm very happy with S-Gear as is.
I would like to have a Gain Thing, and maybe a comp or EQ, but I have those in my daw.

Hey Everybody,

I’m new to the forum but I’ve been using S-Gear about 2 years now. I love it and am looking forward to the updates just like everyone else here on the forum. Also looking forward to chatting with you all more often.

Cheers,

Loren

At the same time I am waiting for the Atomic Amplifire AA3 update.
Both gentlemen were at NAMM 2018.
I wonder which update will be more interesting and which first;)

The Amplifire is a nice piece of kit! I prefer it's sounds over Helix and Fractal.

Line 6 Helix and for me it sounds digitally specific, definitely Amplifire won.
Mike several years ago promised S-Gear will be available in hardware version
Well, I did not get it.
Maybe it is worth to hope??

The Amplifire always reminded me of S-Gear. Which is why I sold all of my modelers and use S-Gear! I bought a Blues Cube Artist and built a pedal board with the proceeds.
I'm still tempted to buy the new A6 when it comes out.

Although a hardware version of S-gear would be nice I’d rather see more development done on the current S-gear software. In the future when there are more amps and pedals of course hardware would be nice, but even then I’d rather Mike’s focus stay on software and perhaps he could liscense the code to another company. Imagine 4 years from now a boss multifx unit powered by S-gear for $500.

Fulfilling my dream, I would buy it without thinking :)
I've been tracking S-Gear since the beginning of the uprising, I remember that Mike said in an interview that the hardware version will be available in 2 years.
This time has long passed and unless the company's plan has changed.
The software update also goes very slowly.
I understand, however, that this is a small company and the time to implement plans is much larger.
A similar problem of waiting for updates is felt with Amplifire

That is good to know. Funny how silent the forum's gone in the last few days. Quiet before the storm. Hopefully it will be a nice refreshing rain. :)

Mike's had some things to handle after the show but will offer his words of wisdom very soon.

Those that know me as a long time S-Gear user...should know that I'm only having a little fun joking around about it all.
I have all the confidence in the world in Mike as a dev. We haven't had a major update in 11/2 years and S-Gear still sounds better or at least as good as Atomic, Fractal or Helix IMHO.
