Propellerhead, the developers of the All in One Studio Reason (now version 6), have revealed a new exciting addition to their DAW, the "Rack Extentions", whick makes 3rd party Plugins possible with Propellerhead making the portation to the different platforms.
They have already some big and small companies in the boat with some plugins, like U-He, Korg Softube etc.
So i thought maybe this would be a good platform for S-Gear too..
S-Gear in Reason 6.5 instead of the not so amazing Line-6 Bass and Guitar Amps, would surely be a big joy for all guitar playing users of Reason.
This is so true. I'd love to wave a wand and be able to offer this... and MAC VST, and ProTools AAX. But hey, there are only seven days a week and I normally work all of them as it is
I am in love with Reason since version 1 . I do a lot of production with it and I am VERY satisfed with the results. But, if I must choose one thing which I miss the most in Reason, it would be the ampsim like S-Gear.
This RE thing is a big step forward for Reason and for music world IMHO.
Propellerheads claim you can port your existing dsp. The s gear is already in a rack format. You would only have to add the rounting options to the graphical interferface. With the quality of the s-gear devices and Reasons routing options can you imagine the possibility's.
