Install Upgrade
Download and run the correct installer for your operating system. For a step-by-step guide to installation and licensing, please refer to the S-Gear Installation Guide.

See our Activation page for information and help with both online and offline activation.

To get the best from S-Gear, download and read our detailed User Manual.		 You can upgrade to a newer version of S-Gear without affecting your license or saved presets. Just download and run the installer. If you have a Windows VST DLL placed in a custom directory, don't forget to update that too! Your S-Gear VST plug-in will not run if the loaded DLL does not match the installed version.

Important!  when upgrading from v1.nn to v2.0, please read the upgrade notes for your system:

Please note:  S-Gear for MAC is currently AudioUnit only.  It is not compatible with MAC Cubase or ProTools.

  • Input Trim & Output Trim levels now stored with preset.

  • Fix crash when right-clicking on rack frame

  • Channel delay control added to ProConvolver channels.
  • ProConvolver Pan control now applies a sine law compensated pan.
  • IIR Cab types now work correctly at all supported sample rates.
  • Fix ProConvolver bug where edits to a slaved cab do not get saved.  Note:  Existing DAW project instances saved with slaved cabs may require a re-slave.
  • Fix problem on Lion where S-Gear user interface gets cropped on screens less than 900pix tall.
System Requirements:
  • Intel MAC running OS X 10.5, 10.6, or 10.7
  • Minimum: 2.0GHz processor speed, 2GB RAM, 20MB Free disk space
  • MAC Standalone requires a Core Audio compatible audio interface
